The Role

You will have defined roles within the Finance Department. In those roles you will be given training to develop the necessary experience towards a professional qualification. As opportunities develop within the department and the whole company, studying accountants will be considered for those opportunities.

Our Graduate programme will consist of the following;
· 6 monthly rotation in every area of finance from accounts payable to operations finance
· Interaction with other areas of the business from buying to marketing to impose your financial expertise to non finance people.
· Funded training towards a professional CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification.
· Tuition and mentoring from qualified accountants.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with good A level grades and will have good analytical skills and a desire to pursue a career as a professional accountant. You will have good communication skills and a positive, confident and proactive approach. Candidates will need to be at intermediate level in excel and ideally have experience in VB.

Working within a fast paced finance environment, within a mass transactional company a new role is required for an ambitious data analyst. The role will require the person to work to very tight deadlines to meet daily, weekly and monthly reporting targets.

The candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly excel and access. They will be able to write and record maco’s and write VBA scripts. The candidate will also have good working knowledge of SQL query analyser and be able to manipulate data, write stored procedures, create views, functions joins and select statements. This is the new reporting platform the business is moving onto and will be a pivotal role in assisting with the set up of the platform.
The candidate will have experience working in a mass transaction industry and ideally will have worked within a finance environment in the past (not essential though). Candidates will preferably be educated to degree level. Ideally in a computer science, IT, software engineering etc.
