Before the Interview

It always helps if you are able to research our company, products and competitors thoroughly so that you can answer any questions about us the interviewers may ask. You can find plenty of information on our homepage TheHutGroup.com. Ensure you have read through the role profile in great detail so you know exactly what the role entails before meeting the hiring managers and note down any questions about our company or the role that you want to ask at the interview. We would recommend arriving at our offices with at least 15 minutes to spare to ensure you are able to park in good time. We are looking for talented individuals who share in our vision and are passionate about our business and what we want to achieve.

We love what we do and are proud of our success – so if this sounds like the type of place you want to work, you’ll fit right in!

The Interview

We like to learn as much as we can about you so feel free to sell your skills at interview. If you need to clarify any of the questions just ask and the interviewer will be happy to elaborate. Ideally you should bring a copy of your CV to the interview so you can refer to it if you need to.
Our interviews are competency based so we focus on understanding specific examples of where you have demonstrated your skills, whether they are from previous employment or experiences you have encountered in University or throughout education we are keen to understand how you can fulfil the role.
If you can’t think of an answer, don’t worry you can always agree with the interviewer that you will go back to it at the end – feel free to allow yourself some time to think before you respond. Try and enjoy yourself – you are also interviewing us.
Remember, the interview is your chance to sell yourself and this is your opportunity to show us what a talented individual you are. Be honest and don’t be tempted to exaggerate your skills and experiences as we want to make sure the role is absolutely the right one for you.
