Full Time Video Game Reviewer
Zavvi.com is one of the fastest growing online retailers of video games, as part of our continued expansion we are currently looking to recruit a full time Video Game Reviewer.
The role involves:
- Playing all recent video game titles – across PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
- Publishing written reviews of latest game releases.
- Liaising with Video Game buyers to ensure that previews of forthcoming titles are made available for review a the earliest date possible.
- Informing buying decisions based on game playability and enjoyment.
- Directing and recording video reviews on latest games.
- Attending gaming industry events and representing Zavvi.com – e.g: The Golden Joystick Awards
- Planning and undertaking customer research and focus groups to inform editorial.
The ideal candidate will have experience of and a real enthusiasm for playing video games across all major platforms (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii), must have strong attention to detail and ideally previous experience in copywriting.
