What is an Apprenticeship
Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experience. As an employee, you can earn as you learn and you gain practical skills from the workplace.
Our Apprenticeship qualification is comprised of 3 elements.
Technical Certificates
These are a number of units with specific criteria that we need to prove knowledge in. These will be attained during within the 3 months of your placement.
Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma
This is similar to the old type NVQ now known as QCF which is The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and is the new way of recognising vocational achievement through the award of credit for units and qualifications.
Your units will be set to suit the needs of the business and ensure you are able to pass the qualification.
Key Skills
These are completed with in exam sessions throughout your course. You may not need to do these if you have 5 GCSE’s A-C within the last 5 years. Please note that we will need to see your original exam certificates if you are exempt from the Functional skills.
